I haven’t done any of that in a while. I’ll try to get some pictures of my most recent acquisition and post them in a few days. Another semi-auto, another Smith and Wesson, but newer than my others. I’ll leave the rest of the details to when I post.

In other shooting news, since the beginning of the year, I’ve helped to usher in three new shooters. My oldest friend, one his daughters, and one of his brothers have all taken the state required safety course and all have received a License To Carry. My daughter took the class with them and wants to get her LTC, but hasn’t started the process yet. I even told her I’d pay for her first license! She enjoys target shooting and wants me to take her again. Now that the nice weather is coming, I’m going to find time to do that.

I’m most encouraged by the two young women who have shown interest. Women seem to be the fastest growing segment of shooters and ultimately that will influence how the shooting sports and armed self defense are seen by the public.

All of which is good for all of us.
