I posted last week about the S&W Model 64-6 I bought back in September. I mentioned that another gun I was looking for had popped up a the same dealer. Today I finally got to the gun shop and had a look. From the not too great photos below, you can see that this gun is in near new condition. The price was a bit higher than I had hoped, but I think it’s well worth the money.
Other than a slight turn ring, there is no evidence that this gun was ever carried or shot.
In chatting with the owner, he told me he liked the gun so much that he almost kept if for himself. Luckily for me, he decided not to, because I don’t know when or if such a nice specimen would show up for sale again.
As soon as the weather allows, I’ll take this beauty to the range to get used to it. I think it’s going to be a lot of fun to shoot. After that, a grip adapter, and quality inside the waist band holster. Then it will go into my carry rotation. This gun is way too nice to sit in a safe.
