Yes, it’s that time of year again. September is Prostate Cancer Awareness Month, so I’m here to harangue my male readers to put up with the momentary discomfort of the exam to avoid the far longer discomfort of fighting Prostate Cancer or the even longer inconvenience of being dead when didn’t have to be dead.
I’m haranguing all of my readers to pick one of the Kilted To Kick Cancer competition bloggers and donate.
Since I know and am friends with many of the participants I’m not going to suggest one. They are all good guys, good bloggers, and dedicated to the cause. I’d wear a Kilt, but my legs are so sexy, they’d all cry and give up.
You can also support and spread the word by buying a Kilted to Kick Cancer T shirt.
You can follow the fund raising competition at the KTKC blog.
For those who want to know who I donate to, here is the answer. I wait until close to the end and donate to the guy in last place. That way I’m not playing favorites since so many of my friends are in the competition.
Go forth and donate. Prostate Cancer kills a lot of men every year and has been underfunded for years and years.
Guys (and their significant others), it’s time we started taking care of ourselves.
