Spring Cleaning

0

I know that it’s not spring, but since the blog is moving to a new network I decided to take some time cleaning up the links section. Some of the blogs aren’t there any longer, others are there, but haven’t had any activity in months or in a couple of cases, years.

A few others have sort of drifted away (or maybe I did) from the topics that made me decide to link to them. That’s probably more a reflection on me than on the blogs.

Blogging isn’t easy sometimes. It’s an outlet for one’s opinions, umbrage, views, and news. It can be time consuming and life often brings changes that suck up our time. As my mother used to say, “Man plans, God laughs.” If you are one of my readers who doesn’t believe in God, feel free to read that as “Man plans, Life laughs.” The point is the same, sometimes the things we have to do interrupt and interfere with the things we like to do.

Over the next few days I’ll be paring down the lists a bit. After the move over to the new network, there might be even more changes.

If you’re a blogger that reads my posts and would like to have a link to your blog, please feel free to email me. For the most part, I’ll reciprocate with people who link to me. There was one case a few years ago where I was on someone’s blog list and when I went to their blog, I was disgusted by the racist, anti Semitic, and anti American (while claiming to be a patriot) crapfest on that blog. I emailed and asked to be removed from their blogroll. I never heard back, but I assume that the link was removed.

That sort of thing aside, I link to bloggers that interest me, or that I’ve met and like.

Stay tuned.

I'm a retired paramedic who formerly worked in a largish city in the Northeast corner of the U.S. In my post EMS life I provide Quality Improvement instruction and consulting under contract. I haven't really retired, I just don't work nights, holidays, or weekends.  I escaped the Northeast a couple of years ago and now live in Texas.  I'm more than just a little opinionated, but that comes with having been around the block more than once. You can email me at EMSArtifact@gmail.com After living most of my life (so far) in the northeast my lovely wife and I have moved to central Texas because we weren't comfortable in the northeast any longer. Life is full of twists and turns.
