My Week

3

Was none to great, to be honest.

It started last Friday, the 20th, shortly after I finished having my taxes done. I don’t think there was any connection, but on the way out the door I started to feel nauseous and have a headache.
By the way, those of you getting refunds can thank me for my contribution. 🙁

Anyway, I got home and went back to bed for about the next twenty hours. When I awoke on Saturday morning I felt okay for a while.

Then other symptoms, which I will spare you, emerged and I didn’t feel so good.

Then I felt fine through Saturday evening.

Sunday morning came and back on the roller coaster.

The work weeks continued like that and I didn’t feel myself until yesterday.

I apparently don’t bounce back like I used to, even from what should be minor ailments.

Which is my semi whiny excuse for not posting for several days.

Which lapse I’m going to try to make up over the next few days.

I'm a retired paramedic who formerly worked in a largish city in the Northeast corner of the U.S. In my post EMS life I provide Quality Improvement instruction and consulting under contract. I haven't really retired, I just don't work nights, holidays, or weekends.  I escaped the Northeast a couple of years ago and now live in Texas.  I'm more than just a little opinionated, but that comes with having been around the block more than once. You can email me at EMSArtifact@gmail.com After living most of my life (so far) in the northeast my lovely wife and I have moved to central Texas because we weren't comfortable in the northeast any longer. Life is full of twists and turns.
