Merry Christmas

2

Merry Christmas to all of my readers who celebrate the holiday. To the rest of you, have a nice Thursday.

I hope you can spent this day with your loved ones and are not stuck far from home in places both remote and dangerous.

Mrs. EMS Artifact and I will be spending the day with our friends who lost their son last week. We can’t be here for the wake or funeral, so we’re doing what we can.

Tomorrow we leave on a trip to visit our scattered family in the south. It’s also Mrs. EMS Artifact’s birthday. One of the “big” ones that she’s not looking forward to. It will be nice to be spending it with the people most important to here. What’s even nicer is that she doesn’t expect some of them to be there to celebrate. She usually hates surprises, but I think she’ll like this one.

Blogging will be spotty until after the first of the year. I have a couple of preloaded posts that will pop up next week, but I probably won’t have too much time to add to that.

Enjoy your holiday and treasure the time with your loved ones.

I'm a retired paramedic who formerly worked in a largish city in the Northeast corner of the U.S. In my post EMS life I provide Quality Improvement instruction and consulting under contract. I haven't really retired, I just don't work nights, holidays, or weekends.  I escaped the Northeast a couple of years ago and now live in Texas.  I'm more than just a little opinionated, but that comes with having been around the block more than once. You can email me at EMSArtifact@gmail.com After living most of my life (so far) in the northeast my lovely wife and I have moved to central Texas because we weren't comfortable in the northeast any longer. Life is full of twists and turns.
