Battle of Midway

0

Usually I like to post something about the Battle of Midway because it was perhaps the pivotal naval battle of World War II, maybe even the most important naval battle in recorded history. This year though, I’m on the road and the past two weeks have been busy, as my regular readers know.

For that reason, I’m just going to link to one of my previous posts and ask you to forgive me for cheating.

The Tide Turns

Remember also that Friday, June 6, is D-Day, the 70th anniversary of the invasion of France by the Allies and the start of the end for the Third Reich. I have a full day of furniture moving scheduled for tomorrow and will likely be even more tired than I am right now, so I might not get to post anything.

Yeah, we made it to Texas in one piece, with our sanity intact, and the cat not too disgruntled. I’ll have more on that when  I have a chance.

I’m happy to be in Texas and some day we’ll come down here and won’t be going back.

I'm a retired paramedic who formerly worked in a largish city in the Northeast corner of the U.S. In my post EMS life I provide Quality Improvement instruction and consulting under contract. I haven't really retired, I just don't work nights, holidays, or weekends.  I escaped the Northeast a couple of years ago and now live in Texas.  I'm more than just a little opinionated, but that comes with having been around the block more than once. You can email me at EMSArtifact@gmail.com After living most of my life (so far) in the northeast my lovely wife and I have moved to central Texas because we weren't comfortable in the northeast any longer. Life is full of twists and turns.
