Remember when your mother told you to wash your hands after handling money because it was “full of germs”? I’ll bet you laughed at mom, didn’t you?

Well, it turns out that she was even more right than even she might have thought.

Woman hospitalized to remove stolen $5,000 from rectum target

BULLS GAP — A theft charge is pending against a Hawkins County woman who allegedly stole $5,000 from her boyfriend and was then hospitalized for injuries suffered attempting to remove the cash from her “hiding place.”

Whoa! That’s all I have to say.

Allen said Black attempted to remove the cash with a toilet brush and tongs but was unsuccessful. 

“She was bleeding severely and was transported to the Hawkins County (Memorial Hospital) emergency room,” Allen said. “The wad of money was removed and collected as evidence.”

A surgeon in Hawkins County, TN now has a story that will buy him (or her) drinks for years to come. I just hope that Black didn’t offer to pay for the surgery with cash. Not to mention the EMS crew that transported her. I don’t think that even Ambulance Driver can top that one and I know I can’t.
