A Busy Week

0

My agency sent me to some training out of town. For the most part the material has been new to me, and it’s interesting. Because of the amount of material that has to be covered the days have been 9-10 hours long. In addition, it’s physically demanding and my old body is just worn out. It’s been class, eat, socialize a bit, and then sleep as much as possible. All of which  has conspired to make blogging time nil.

I’ll get back to posting on Sunday and will give a bit of detail about the training. I’ll also comment on the indictment of five more in the continuing EMT training scandal in Massachusetts.

Finally, my best wishes go out to the people in the south who have been devastated by the tornadoes and related storms. The loss of life is horrendous and it’s not the end. The people down there and the rescuers and medical staff who are coming in to help are going to have their work cut out for them. I hope that any of my readers down that way are doing OK.

More to come Sunday. Be safe out there.

I'm a retired paramedic who formerly worked in a largish city in the Northeast corner of the U.S. In my post EMS life I provide Quality Improvement instruction and consulting under contract. I haven't really retired, I just don't work nights, holidays, or weekends.  I escaped the Northeast a couple of years ago and now live in Texas.  I'm more than just a little opinionated, but that comes with having been around the block more than once. You can email me at EMSArtifact@gmail.com After living most of my life (so far) in the northeast my lovely wife and I have moved to central Texas because we weren't comfortable in the northeast any longer. Life is full of twists and turns.
