Reconsideration

0

I’ve been reading what are some disturbing comments regarding the discipline handed out in the EMT training scandal in Massachusetts. If the comments are accurate, it seems that the Office of Emergency Medical Services might have over reacted and meted out penalties that were either too severe or not justified at all.

I’m trying to get better information, but it’s entirely possible that people were suspended for minor paper work errors, or in at least one case, after an incomplete investigation where the EMT was not informed he was the subject of possible discipline.

Until then the post “EMS Hall of Shame” will go back onto the draft list and not be available to read.

More information once is available, I’ll post more.

I'm a retired paramedic who formerly worked in a largish city in the Northeast corner of the U.S. In my post EMS life I provide Quality Improvement instruction and consulting under contract. I haven't really retired, I just don't work nights, holidays, or weekends.  I escaped the Northeast a couple of years ago and now live in Texas.  I'm more than just a little opinionated, but that comes with having been around the block more than once. You can email me at EMSArtifact@gmail.com After living most of my life (so far) in the northeast my lovely wife and I have moved to central Texas because we weren't comfortable in the northeast any longer. Life is full of twists and turns.
