“You can have the Democratic nomination when you pry it from my cold dead hands”.

I hope she doesn’t prove me wrong by conceding later in the week. I’m really enjoying the show. I also think she’d be a tougher opponent in the general election. Which is why I’m glad Obama is going to win.

President John McCain has such a nice ring to it.

I'm a retired paramedic who formerly worked in a largish city in the Northeast corner of the U.S. In my post EMS life I provide Quality Improvement instruction and consulting under contract. I haven't really retired, I just don't work nights, holidays, or weekends.  I escaped the Northeast a couple of years ago and now live in Texas.  I'm more than just a little opinionated, but that comes with having been around the block more than once. You can email me at EMSArtifact@gmail.com After living most of my life (so far) in the northeast my lovely wife and I have moved to central Texas because we weren't comfortable in the northeast any longer. Life is full of twists and turns.

  1. I dunno. The media certainly fell to its collective knees for Obama, dontcha think?Right now, if Her Filthiness were to somehow wrestle the nomination away from Barack “Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious” Obama, it would crater the Dems right into the ground only a few scant months before the general election…

  2. I’m saying that right now, were she to take the nomimation by hook or crook (she *is* a Clinton after all), there’s no way she could beat McCain.Of course, the kick in the shorts here is that even if we do manage to dodge the Obamessiah bullet, we’re still stuck with John Effing McCain…

  3. Clinton would be a tougher opponent for McCain. I believe that the more swing voters get to know Obama, the less they’ll like him. I can live with McCain, flaws and all.

  4. What, you don’t want President Deval Patr- I mean Barack Obama taking another 8 year vacation from history???

  5. I don’t know, I think that Mrs Clinton would be a fine president. Think about the many years of experience she has in international affairs. She even brings her husband with her to the White House. What a package deal! A woman in the White House would solve many of our national problems, and probably improve our relationship with the UN and Europe. You seem like a good guy, but you just need to get your mind right.

  6. Thank you Mr. Paloma. I’m trying to get my mind right, but evil conservative thoughts keep creeping in like Bill Clinton after a hard night mentoring interns.
